It’s a cc. The governor lever has 2 holes at its top, 1 for the throttle link, 1 for the governor link. I dont know which should go from the throttle control lever to the gov and which should go from the carb butterfly to the gov. I took off the carb, cleaned it up and reinstalled.

After repeated efforts to start the engine using the procedure listed in the operator’s manual fail, check for spark by removing the high tension lead and removing the spark plug. Install a Tecumseh Spark Plug Tester part and check for spark. If the spark is bright blue and fires every revolution, proceed to step 2. Remove the spark plug and visually check the removed spark plug for a wet condition indicating the presence of fuel mixture in the cylinder.

Donyboy, This was great vid for me since it was only one that the linkages looked like mine. However I have old 6hp Tecumseh on Troy horse 1 rather than hp Tehcumseh. Since the ends with the bends must be twisted or angled to go thru the holes on throttle assembly which is not possible when the other ends are already attached? How would you do it? I could remove the two bolts on the assembly which would give me enough play to attach them.
